Tumblr
Bring your articles to your Tumblr followers, block by block
Write the piece on LookMyBio. When it publishes, Tumblr receives a post made of its own text, image and video blocks, tagged for discovery and signed off with a link to where it first appeared.
Tumblr is one of the blogs a single post can reach on Starter and up.
- Connect by signing in
- Sent in Tumblr's post blocks
- Link back to your post
- Up to 30 tags
- Later edits sent on request

Your Tumblr followers live on the dashboard, not on your site
People who follow you on Tumblr scroll their dashboard and rarely click away. Rebuilding a long article in the Tumblr post editor, block after block, with the images dragged in again and the tags retyped, is the step that usually gets skipped.
Your digital presence doesn't have to be this fragmented
LookMyBio brings the whole flow into one platform, so you produce in a more organized way and stay in control of what gets published.
How it works
Sign in with Tumblr
Under the LookMyBio blog's cross-post settings, pick Tumblr and allow access from your Tumblr account.
Pick the Tumblr blog
Run a main blog and a side blog? Choose which one the articles should go to.
Check Tumblr on the post
Mark Tumblr in the Cross-post window. The Tumblr post is made when your article publishes, or at the time you scheduled.
Connected through Tumblr’s own sign-in
You approve access on Tumblr’s consent page, so no password or key passes through your hands. The connection keeps itself signed in, and you can revoke it from your Tumblr settings.
- Only blogs you administer are offered, since group members without admin rights cannot post
- Renaming your Tumblr blog later does not break the connection
- Publish the copy straight away or keep it as a Tumblr draft
Rebuilt in Tumblr’s block format
Tumblr posts are made of blocks rather than HTML, so the article is converted into text, image, video and audio blocks. A YouTube, Vimeo or Spotify player becomes a Tumblr media block, other embeds arrive as link blocks, and your tags come along, up to 30 per post.
- The cover image opens the post, followed by the title as a heading
- A comma inside a single tag becomes a space, because Tumblr splits tags on commas
Credit that stays put when the post is reblogged
Tumblr has no canonical field. Instead, the post sets its source link to your article and closes with an "Originally published at" line, so the trail back to your blog stays visible.
- Your own post on the blog is left exactly as you wrote it
Revise once, update the Tumblr post
Once you change the original, the Cross-post window shows the Tumblr post as out of date. Send the update and Tumblr replaces the blocks with the new version.
- Replies and reblogs happen on Tumblr and are not collected in your comments inbox

Post a translated edition
Create a linked draft of the article in another language, adjust what needs adjusting, and send that edition to Tumblr as a separate post.
